About us
Andrea & Jane
Create It is the dream turned reality for us, creative Stockport friends, Andrea and Jane. Opened in July 2013, our bright and welcoming ceramic cafe offers creative fun for the whole family. With a large range of ready to paint pottery (which is glazed and fired in our on site kiln) and a variety of other craft activities, there's something suitable for all ages and abilities.
Love Prints & Create It
In 2008 we met at a silver jewellery workshop and soon set up our first business ‘Love Prints’ making beautiful silver imprint jewellery. We both had young children so our aim, as soon as our children were old enough, was to create a space where customers could come to get creative too, and so 5 years later 'Create It' was born.
Our lovely craft cafe
Cheadle was always top of the list and it wasn’t long before we found and fell in love with our current premises on Wilmslow Road in Cheadle’s ‘Westend’. After some hard graft and the help of our amazing families and friends, Create It was ready to welcome it’s first customers and we’ve never looked back! We are both so grateful to our brilliant team, especially our right-hand-woman Annie, and our lovely customers who make our job such a pleasure and such a success!
What we offer in store
There's lots to keep you entertained in store with our great range of activities including pottery painting, decoupage, foam clay and canvas painting. We also have our bespoke and handmade range of Love Prints personalised keepsakes, which we make for you, such as our beautiful silver imprint jewellery, clay imprints, painted prints on pottery and special commision pieces. You can carry on the creativity at home as we also stock a great range of take home kits and crafty gifts.
Parties and events
We have a fantastic party room, which is a great space for all types of celebrations from birthdays (we’ve hosted 1st birthdays and 70th birthdays and everything in between!) to baby showers, hen dos, team building and networking events. We hold regular evening sessions for grown ups so you can get creative in a child-free environment.
Drinks, snacks & facilities
For refreshment we serve delicious Illy coffee, a selection of teas and a variety of soft drinks. We also stock various cookies, chocolate bars and crisps to keep you fueled while you're busy creating. High chairs and baby changing facilities are available for little ones.
